Our purpose
Do more with less
The most sustainable building is the one that isn’t built. That’s why we’re helping organisations fully understand their needs, enabling them to right-size their offices and create workplaces that are fit-for-purpose.
The impact of our built environment is staggering and multifaceted
Financial cost
Real estate expenses typically rank as one of a company’s largest cost components.
User experience
The spaces we live and work in directly impact our well-being and our performance.
Carbon footprint
The built environment is responsible for over 40% of global CO2 emissions.
“The amazing thing about optimising your workspace is the multitude of benefits. It is good for business, good for your people and good for the planet.
Malte Koeditz, Founder
Our solutions are founded on two fundamental beliefs
An optimisation must be needs-driven
Founded in 2020 by Malte Koeditz, spaciv embodies an architects perspective on workplace optimisation. Our fundamental belief is that space serves as a canvas for tangible processes, activities, and human interactions.
Guided by this principle, we are dedicated to crafting spaces that are meticulously tailored to accommodate the unique requirements of their users.
The result is an inherently right-sized and fit-for-purpose working environment.
To leverage the full potential, a data-centric approach is required
It is no coincidence that spaciv was co-founded by Ulf Seekamp, an experienced full stack software engineer. In fact, the inception of spaciv was a direct response to the overwhelming complexity of evaluating user needs, modelling future scenarios and calculating space requirements.
Conventional tools used in the past proved inadequate for the job, often leaving decision makers without the confidence they needed.
Our data-centric approach directly confronts this issue, effectively resolving numerous strategic and operational challenges along the way.
